MGS Inc. Passes National Safety Compliance Inspection
Denver, Pa.-based MGS Inc. last week announced it has passed the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers’ safety compliance reinspection, part of NATM’s voluntary Compliance Program. NATM’s Compliance Program, including its inspection, is based on the NATM Guidelines for Recommended Minimum Manufacturing Practices for Lightand Medium Duty Trailers. The Guidelines is a compilation of federal safety standards and regulations and industry best practices that govern trailer construction.
Established in 1962, MGS is a manufacturer and supplier of utility trailers to the construction, public utility, fire fighting and equipment rental industries.
The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers was founded in 1987 and represents manufacturers that produce light- and medium-duty trailers. NATM members also include suppliers to the industry. Organized to promote, both to the trailer industry and to the public, universal recognition of safety and quality in trailer manufacturing, NATM works to improve the trailer industry through the promotion of compliance with its Guidelines. The Association currently has more than 900 member companies across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other foreign countries.
