David White last week was appointed president of California Manufacturing and Engineering Co., which manufactures MEC Aerial Work Platforms and Telescopic Handlers that are marketed worldwide by MEC Aerial Work Platform Sales Corp.

White joined MEC Aerial Work Platforms in February 2005 as engineering manager and was later promoted to director of engineering and operations. He previously served as senior vice president of global engineering for UpRight, when it was producing a full line of aerial work platforms, material handling equipment and scaffolding for the construction and rental industries.

MEC is headquartered in Selma, Calif., where the company manufactures a full line of aerial work platforms and telescopic handlers that are marketed worldwide.

David White is the new Manufacturing Division president for Selma, Calif.-based MEC.
