The Manitowoc Co. has appointed Joan Chow to the company’s board of directors, bringing the total number of directors to nine.
Chow currently serves as the executive vice president and chief marketing officer at ConAgra Foods, where she is responsible for leading its global marketing team, including integrated marketing planning, advertising, social media, consumer insights, brand design and multicultural marketing. Previously, Chow was senior vice president/chief marketing officer of Sears Holdings Corp., responsible for leading Sears Retail marketing.
The Manitowoc Co. is a provider of crawler cranes, tower cranes and mobile cranes for the heavy construction industry. In addition, Manitowoc is a leading innovator and manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment.
