LiuGong North America has named Curt Unger vice president of sales and marketing said Ron Hargrave, president. In the newly created position, Unger will be responsible for establishing LiuGong as a major player in the North American earthmoving, quarrying, roadbuilding and other construction markets. His initial tasks will be to expand LiuGong’s dealer network in the United States and Canada and the development of both the national and regional marketing and sales programs.

Most recently, Unger was general sales manager for Yanmar, where he managed the company’s field sales staff and dealer network. Before that, he was director of marketing for Komatsu Utility Corp.

Liugong North America is based in Katy, Texas.
