Leica Geosystems Acquires CT3 Machine Control Distributor
Leica Geosystems last week entered into an agreement to acquire CT3 Inc., a Southern California-based company that provides machine control products, repair services, training and technical support for professionals in the construction market space. Technologies such as total station machine guidance systems, GPS-enabled machine control, rotating lasers and construction software are the core business of CT3.
“With our new innovative machine control product lines, construction customers nationwide are beginning to understand that Leica Geosystems offers them a choice in machine control solutions that they have not had in the past,” said Ken Mooyman, president and CEO of Leica Geosystems. “The acquisition of CT3 is a continuation of Leica Geosystems’ commitment and overall NAFTA growth strategy within the construction market. CT3 will join with Surveyors Service Co., another market-leading Leica Geosystems company, to provide one-stop-shop capabilities for surveying and construction professionals in the Southwestern U.S.”
With U.S. headquarters in Norcross, Ga., Leica Geosystems is best known for its broad array of products that capture, model, analyze, and visualize and present spatial information.
