Kubota Tractor Corp. has reached the 1.5 million unit sales milestone in the United States as the Osaka, Japan-based company begins its 40^th year of doing business in the U.S.

Kubota Tractor began marketing in the U.S. in 1972 with a compact tractor, adding a 4-wheel drive compact tractor in 1974. It also produces utility vehicles, compact track loaders, excavators, turf products and more. Its U.S. headquarters is in Torrance, Calif.
