Komatsu Adds Senior Management Executives

Komatsu America last week named Gregg Hewitt vice president and general manager of all North American construction operations, the Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based manufacturer said. Hewitt most recently served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the Jacobsen Division of Textron.

Hewitt had 17 years experience in upper management with the Maytag Corp.

Komatsu also named Jeff Gathe vice president of information technology. He most recently was director, global technology strategy and innovation for Kraft Foods. Gathe has worked in design engineering for McDonnell Douglas, and various other firms.
