Auburn, Wash.-based Tanaka Kogyo Co., Ltd. of Japan last week announced that it promoted Jeff Wright to vice president and executive officer of Tanaka America. Wright will continue to be responsible for overseeing all Tanaka activities in North America as well as looking for opportunities to grow the Tanaka business in North, Central and South America.

“The Tanaka business in North America is growing nicely and we are very pleased with the performance of our entire team of employees, sales staff, master distributors, and dealers,” said Kohya Tanaka, president of Tanaka Kogyo Co. “Jeff has revitalized Tanaka America, and we are well on our way to reaching our sales goals in this market.”

Tanaka America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanaka Kogyo Co., responsible for sales and marketing, customer support, and order fulfillment in North, Central and South America. Tanaka America’s upper management consists of four long-time Tanaka employees with more than 100 years of combined Tanaka management experience.
