Hilti Designers Win Prestigious Red Dot Award

Hilti’s design team will receive the Red Dot Design Team of the Year Award, joining such well-known brands as Apple, Adidas, Audi and BMW.

In addition to the annual awarding of the Red Dot Design Award for products with outstanding design quality, the organizers have also handed out an award to the design team of the year since 1988.

“What our inter-departmental teams have done in the last few years in the definition and consistent application of the Hilti design line is extremely valuable, both in terms of formative design and economic considerations,” said Hilto CEO Bo Risberg. “We are very pleased to note that our uniform, clear and expressive design language has been acknowledged by an external jury of experts.”

“The basis for its excellence is that the Hilti design promises exactly what the tool delivers,” said Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator of the Red Dot Design Award.

Hilti is based in Schaan, Liechtenstein, with U.S. headquarters in Tulsa, Okla.
