Genie Industries announced last week that Melinda Zimmerman-Smith joined the company as marketing communications manager. In this role, she will be responsible for spearheading marketing communications strategies and programs for Genie, Terex Load King, Terex light construction products and Terex Construction Americas.
Zimmerman-Smith draws from nearly 10 years of marketing and public relations experience. Previously, Zimmerman-Smith was a marketing communications specialist for Comcast Corp. in San Rafael, Calif.
Headquartered in Redmond, Wash., with branch offices worldwide, Genie Industries manufactures material lifts, aerial work platforms, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, scissor lifts, self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms and telehandlers.
