Generac Power Systems Earns Good Housekeeping Seal
Generac Power Systems, Waukesha, Wis., a leading manufacturer of standby and portable power generation equipment, last week announced it has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal.
After review by the Good Housekeeping Research Institute, Generac has earned the Seal for a number of its product lines: The Generac Guardian Series of residential standby generators, the Generac QuietSource Series, the XP and GP line of Generac portables, and the Centurion series.
“The Good Housekeeping Seal recognizes Generac’s commitment to quality products, ingenuity, and integrity,” said Clement Feng, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Generac. “This accreditation opens a new door for the Generac brand that we hope will lead to new opportunities to influence the power generation industry and to continue to better serve our customers. We are very honored to have received such a distinguished commendation.”
Originating in Good Housekeeping’s December 1909 issue, the Seal gained recognition as the most important guide in consumer purchasing. To celebrate the 100th birthday of the Seal, Good Housekeeping has introduced a new emblem celebrating its century-long commitment to backing exceptional products.
“Over the past 100 years, the Seal has become the most respected and recognized emblem in the marketplace and today enjoys a 94-percent awareness among consumers,” according to Patricia Haegele, senior vice president/ publisher, Good Housekeeping. “Its value to a company is indisputable — 81 percent of potential buyers say they are more likely to purchase a product with the Good Housekeeping Seal than a similar one without it.”
Since 1959, Generac Power Systems has been manufacturing portable and standby generators, automatic transfer switches, modular paralleling systems, and small engines for recreational vehicle, residential and commercial applications.
