Felling Trailers has built a second location in Litchfield, Minn., to expand production. Felling Trailers’ headquarters and current production will remain at its Sauk Centre, Minn., facility. The new facility, 60 miles south of the headquarters, will bring total production and office space to more than 200,000 square feet.
The new building is already constructed. “We are in the process of moving equipment into the building and hiring personnel with the goal to be up and running as soon as possible — likely July 2012,” Brenda Jennissen of Felling told RER.
Felling manufactures more than 3,000 trailers per year ranging from a 3,000-pound utility trailer to a 12,000-pound hydraulic gooseneck trailer. Its standard trailer line includes more than 200 models.
