Deutz AG drew a record number of engineering enthusiasts to its technology center, a museum for the company’s historical exhibits. There were about 3,600 visitors and 115 guided tours in 2010, about double for the previous year.

Deutz AG has founded an association to manage the preservation and presentation of its historical engine collection, which displays 19^th-century engines still in working order.

The technology center is at Deutz’ headquarters in Cologne, Germany.
