The local court in Cologne, Germany, last week appointed Michael Lichtenauer, an attorney based in Hamburg, Germany, to the Supervisory Board of Deutz Ag, effective immediately. Lichtenauer replaces Giuseppe Vita, who stepped down from the Supervisory Board on July 31.

Lichtenauer, who sits on various supervisory boards and advisory boards of German and U.S. companies, was temporarily appointed to the board until Deutz’s next annual general meeting in May 2010.
