CNH Expands Annual Plant Shut Down in Wichita
Case New Holland last week announced that it will shut down its skid-steer loader production plant in Wichita, Kan., for the entire month of December and part of January, due to the current softness of the construction industry.
According to the company, the temporary closing will affect nearly 400 of its 450 hourly workers in Wichita who produce the Case and New Holland brands of skid steers.
Burr Ridge, Ill.-based CNH Global N.V. is a global equipment supplier made up of the Case and New Holland brand families.
