Case Names New York Contractor its Latest Community Challenge Winner
Creekside Lawnscapes, Marilla, N.Y., owned by John Gingerich (pictured here operating a Case skid-steer loader) is the most recent monthly winner of the Case Community Challenge program, honoring construction contractors for significant contributions to community service projects.
Case Construction Equipment recently named Creekside Lawnscapes, Marilla, N.Y., its March winner of the Case Community Challenge. The program, sponsored by Case, recognizes construction contractors who support their local communities with significant community service projects.
Case honored Creekside Lawnscapes for installing new underground power cable to provide upgraded electrical service throughout Camp Greene, which is used by the New York District Royal Rangers, an adventure program and local ministry designed for boys and young men ages 5 to 17 years old.
As the March winner of the Case Community Challenge, Creekside Lawnscapes will receive a $1,000 CNH parts and service gift card to use at its preferred Case dealer. The company also qualifies as a finalist for the Case Community Challenge grand prize — one year’s free use of a Case N Series loader/backhoe. Case will also donate $1,000 in cash to the New York District Royal Rangers.
“The camp facilities for the New York District Royal Rangers are located far off the main road and more than 1,000 feet from the public utility power lines,” said John Gingerich, president of Creekside Lawnscapes. “The previous feeder line didn’t have the capacity to serve the camp’s electrical needs. Now all the camp facilities will benefit from the upgraded power we provided by installing the new underground cable.”
Each month through October 2011, the Case Community Challenge will recognize a contractor whose work on a charitable project makes a positive, lasting contribution to the local community. In November, a panel of industry leaders will select a winner from the semi-finalists. In addition to a year’s free use of a new N Series loader/backhoe, Case will donate $5,000 to the winner’s charitable organization.
Now through October, Case will give the first contractor who receives 100 votes on www.facebook.com/caseconstruction $100 for its community service. Contractors who have used construction equipment to complete a community service project begun after Jan. 1, 2010, are eligible for nomination to the Case Community Challenge program. To nominate a project, visit www.CaseCE.com/communitychallenge and complete the entry form.
Case will accept nominations for the Case Community Challenge through Oct. 31, 2011. Complete program rules and information are available at www.CaseCE.com/communitychallenge.
Headquartered in Racine, Wis., Case Construction Equipment sells and supports a full line of construction equipment, including loader/backhoes, articulated trucks, excavators, motor graders, wheel loaders, vibratory compaction rollers, crawler dozers, skid steers, compact track loaders, telescopic handlers and rough-terrain forklifts.
