Case Honors Hubbard Construction, Donates $1,000 to March of Dimes

Case Construction Equipment last week announced Hubbard Construction as the most recent monthly winner of the Case Community Challenge. This program recognizes construction contractors who support their local communities with significant community service projects.

Hubbard Construction, Winter Park, Fla., received the award for donating labor, materials and the use of equipment in helping build 28 mud volleyball courts for the 19th Annual Mudd Volleyball Challenge for the March of Dimes. This year’s event was held in Orlando on Aug. 20, and attracted the participation of 164 teams from all over the state of Florida. The tournament raised approximately $165,000, including matching grants, for the March of Dimes Central Florida Chapter.

Hubbard donated the use of a wheel loader, two excavators, a dump truck, water trucks and electric generators in preparing the eight-acre event site. Crews from Hubbard also set up a stage, a mobile office and a 260-foot-long tent at the site that served as hospitality headquarters for teams raising $1,500 or more. The project required a few weeks of site preparation and another week to restore the site following the event.

As a monthly winner of the Case Community Challenge, Hubbard Construction will receive a $1,000 parts and service gift card to use at their preferred Case dealer.

The company also qualifies as a finalist for the Case Community Challenge grand prize — one year’s free use of a Case N Series loader/backhoe. In addition, Case will make a $1,000 cash donation to the March of Dimes.

Nominations for the Case Community Challenge closed on Oct. 31. This month, a panel of industry leaders will select a winner from the semi-finalists, who will receive one year’s free use of a new Case N Series loader/backhoe. In addition, Case will donate $5,000 to a charitable organization of the winner’s choice.

Case Construction Equipment sells and supports a full line of construction equipment around the world, including loader/backhoes, articulated trucks, excavators, motor graders, wheel loaders, vibratory compaction rollers, crawler dozers, skid steers, compact track loaders and rough-terrain forklifts.
