Kewanee, Ill.-based Bomag Americas appointed John Hood sales manager for paving and milling products. He will report directly to Rex Perisho, senior vice president, sales and marketing.

Hood has more than 25 years experience in the paving industry. He spent 22 years at Gilcrest Equipment where he held positions of increasing responsibility in the sales and marketing area. When Bomag purchased Gilcrest in January of 2004, Hood served as paving equipment product manager. He later went to work for Marini America and rejoined Bomag Americas in 2005 when the Fayat Group, which owns Marini, purchased Bomag.
