Surface preparation manufacturer Blastrac promoted John Rippman to national sales manager and training director and named Paul Robb engineering manager.

Rippman has 23 years experience in the surface preparation fields of grinding, cutting, scraping, shot blasting and polishing. He served nine years as a field service manager, nine as regional manager, and five years as Blastrac national training director. Rippman will work closely with regional sales managers and distributors to encourage development of new territories, promote service-driven opportunities and represent Blastrac in organizations and affiliations.

Robb has almost 10 years experience with Blastrac as a drafter, engineer and product manager. He will lead research and development efforts, co-engineer with Blastrac Europe to implement global designs, specify hydraulic, transmission and electrical control power systems and components and manage design/drafting and quality control personnel and processes.

Blastrac is based in Oklahoma City.
