Billy Goat was named 2010 Lawn and Garden Supplier of the Year by True Value Co.’s rental division, during the Spring and Rental Market in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 31.

Billy Goat Industries this week announced it was named 2010 Lawn and Garden Supplier of the Year on Jan. 31, by True Value Co.’s rental division, during the Spring and Rental Market in Orlando, Fla. This marks the second such recognition for the company in the past four years — Billy Goat received True Value’s Rental Tool and Equipment Supplier of the Year in 2007.

Dave Feuerhelm, True Value’s merchandise manager for rental, highlighted Billy Goat’s strong sales growth, product quality, in-store merchandising, store support and new product introductions as the reasons why True Value selected Billy Goat for this award. Lyle Heidemann, True Value’s president and CEO, joined Feuerhelm on stage, to present the award to Billy Goat.
