Atlas Copco Construction Tools and its Chicago Pneumatic subsidiary are offering special trade-in programs for handheld tools, regardless of age, working condition or brand. Until Dec. 31 of this year, customers can trade in their old tools for a new Atlas Copco or Chicago Pneumatic tool and receive 10-percent off the price of a new unit, with a $100 discount applying to CP rivet-buster trade-ins.

Tools included in the Atlas Copco offer include:
• Atlas Copco Pneumatic tools: Quantity trade in of five or more on the purchase of chipping hammers, rivet busters and T-handle breakers up to the 40-pound class. Single tool trade in on the purchase of rock drills, 60- and 90-pound breakers, clay diggers, tampers and pumps;
• Atlas Copco handheld hydraulics: Customer must purchase the same type and quantity unit as is being traded in;
• AC motor drills and breakers: MK1, TT or Cobra Combi for the trade-in of any motor drill breaker.

Tools included in the Chicago Pneumatic offer include:
• Pneumatic tools: Quantity trade in of five or more, any mix, on the purchase of chipping hammers and T-handle breakers up to the 40-pound class. Single-tool trade-ins on the purchase of rock drills, 60- and 90-pound breakers, clay diggers, scabblers, tampers, pneumatic saws and pumps;
• Handheld hydraulics: Customer must purchase the same type and quantity of units being traded in;
• Gas breakers: Any make or brand gas breaker or rock drill will be accepted for trade in against a CP Red Hawk.
