Atlas Copco has extended the warranty for light and medium hydraulic breakers to three years, the company said last week. The newly developed 1+2 program is a free-of-charge offer for all SB and MB range hydraulic breakers acquired after July 1.

“During the three years period, maintenance according to the operating instructions is required,” said Jorn Weise, product line manager for attachments solutions, Atlas Copco Construction Tools. “The 1+2 program is meant to protect the customer’s investment and achieve a higher resale value.”

The warranty offers a free warranty extension, unlimited operating hours and contains the warranty coverage for the breaker’s main components, including the piston. An online registration is required to achieve the warranty extension at www.1plus2program.com.
