Allied Construction Products has named Ed Turner president and CEO and Robert Scalabrini vice president, western region. Turner, who will be replacing Scalabrini, recently served as director of sales and marketing since 2007.

Turner brings more than 30 years experience in general management and outside sales of construction and industrial equipment at the distributor level, as well as top management, OEM sales and distributor development of light and heavy construction equipment at the manufacturing level.

Scalabrini, who is returning to Colorado for family reasons, will begin managing the Allied operations in the western United States, Mexico and western Canadian provinces. Scalabrini successfully transitioned the Rammer (now Sandvik) line of products into the Allied product offering and integrated the respective distribution networks in 2004.

Allied Construction Products is based in Cleveland.
