Allen Engineering Corp. Names New President

The board of directors of Allen Engineering Corp. recently announced several new corporate officer promotions effective immediately.

J. Dewayne Allen is now the CEO and chairman of the board. Allen has been president of Allen Engineering since its inception in 1964.

Jay Allen is now president. Jay was previously vice president of sales & marketing of the firm with more than 10 years of experience.

Scott Sugg is now the vice president of operations. Sugg was previously the manufacturing manager at Allen. Before joining the company, he held operations positions in the automotive and consumer products industries.

The remaining officers of Allen Engineering are: Mary Ann Allen, secretary/treasurer; Bill Barnhill, senior vice president; and Jack Wilson, vice president of research & development.

Allen Engineering Corp. is headquartered in Paragould, Ark. The company engineers, manufactures, and markets concrete equipment under two different brands: Allen Concrete Equipment and Allen Concrete Pavers.
