Allen Engineering Corp. this week announced that Garry Haferbier has joined the Allen Sales Team as rental sales manager. Haferbier has more than 30 years of experience in the rental and light construction equipment industry. Haferbier started his career in a family-owned rental business while pursuing an engineering degree and since then has worked for several leading equipment manufacturers.
In this new position, Haferbier will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing all the independent sales representatives that sell Allen Equipment into the North American rental channel. Haferbier will also be AEC’s main point of contact for all promotions, activities and events related to independently owned rental centers.
Haferbier will continue in his role as vice president of sales at Equipment Synergy International, which is a manufacturer and distributor of small-to-medium construction equipment that includes light compaction, concrete placing and finishing, concrete cutting, dewatering pumps and related specialized equipment.
This dual role with AEC and ESI is the result of the joint marketing agreement between the two companies that was announced July 1. This agreement was designed to help both companies grow their equipment presence in the important domestic construction equipment rental market.
Allen Engineering Corp. is headquartered in Paragould, Ark. The company designs, engineers, manufactures and markets equipment that is used on construction worksites by concrete placing, finishing and paving professionals.
