Lew Hudson Sales to Represent Solar Light Tower Manufacturer

Progress Solar Solutions is partnering with leading equipment rental industry manufacturers’ rep firm Lew Hudson Sales to represent its line of portable Progress Solar Light Towers. The Hudson group has 14 representatives in the southern regions of the United States — Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The group will market the light towers to national, regional and independent equipment rental companies and dealers.

PSS manufactures a range of six portable solar- and wind-powered LED outdoor lighting systems. The company already has sold units to some of the largest rental companies in the U.S. The machines resemble diesel-powered light towers but are powered by renewable energy. The units are manufactured in several U.S. facilities. The light towers are powered primarily by two on-board solar-power generators as well as with additional power on cloudy days and at night through an optional wind generator housed above the LED flood lights. And as a backup, the battery banks that store multiple days of lighting can be charged by an onboard dual-bank AC power charger if needed.

“The Lew Hudson Sales team is proven and have established deep relationships over time with the U.S. equipment rental companies at corporate, regional and branch levels for the states they serve,” said Dan Robertson, a PSS partner.

Progress Solar Solutions is based in Apex, N.C. Lew Hudson Sales is headquartered in Lawrenceville, Ga.
