China Yuchai International said that the Ministry of Science and Technology in Guangxi Province concluded that the company’s commercial vehicle hybrid diesel engine has achieved the highest technical standards within China. The company said the engines match the performance criteria of the world’s top hybrid engines.

The innovative aspects of the hybrid engine include mechatronics design and flexible connection, system-on-a-chip self-learning, intelligent shift control manual transmission, clutch shift and high-efficiency energy recycling technology.

The hybrid vehicle engines are designed to increase fuel efficiency and reduce diesel engine emissions.
