Yanmar has appointed Peter Aarsen as vice president of Yanmar Europe BV as of Jan. 1, 2013.
He will share management responsibilities with current president Geert Jan Mantel. This appointment will help Yanmar to develop business opportunities in more countries and new market sectors. Next to his new role, Aarsen will also retain his position as president of Yanmar Marine International.

Aarsen joined Yanmar in the engineering department in 2007 and held several jobs until he became president of Yanmar Marine International.
Yanmar designs and manufactures diesel engines, accessories and finishing equipment for a wide range of applications in pleasure and commercial marine, industrial use, agricultural machinery, construction equipment and cogeneration power systems.
