From left: Dan Micheau, general manager, Terex Chang Jiang; Ron DeFeo, chairman & CEO, Terex Corp.; and Ken Lousberg, president, Terex China, cut the ribbon at BICES 2011.
The new Terex Toplift 025G, a 25-tonne-capacity class truck crane, was awarded first place for “Machinery Exterior Design and Quality” at the recent BICES 2011 trade show in Beijing.
The new truck cranes are the result of the Terex Chang Jiang joint venture and are manufactured locally at the company’s facility in Luzhou, China.
“We are proud to have won this award,” said Frank Bardonaro, vice president and managing director global sales, Terex Cranes. “This makes a great start for the future success of our new Toplift truck cranes in China and Eastern Asia.”
“Both of these new models are strongly inspired by feedback from our customers and distributors, and combine Chang Jiang’s legacy for strength and lift performance with the latest Terex innovations,” added Ken Lousberg, president Terex China.
Terex received first place for machinery design and quality at the BICES 2011 trade show in Beijing.
