The U.K.’s largest rental company Speedy Hire has signed a three-year exclusive partnership deal with homebuilder Taylor Wimpey Plc. The contract will include specialist equipment from Speedy’s lift division, and will be managed by a single resource within Speedy’s management, providing a single point of contact for ordering, administration and billing.

The agreement could total up to £8 million (about U.S. $15.8 million) per year. Speedy will become the sole supplier of tools and equipment rental for the national home constructor. Speedy will also supply a management information package providing comprehensive reporting on delivery and collections, equipment mix and breakdown response.
