U.K. rental chain Speedy Hire has reached an exclusive two-year deal with Tesco, the largest food retail chain in the U.K.

The pact covers the supply of Tesco’s supply chain contractors in the U.K. and Ireland working on store refurbishments and new buildings. Speedy and Tesco estimate the total value of the agreement to be worth £12 million (about U.S. $19.3 million). Speedy will provide powered access products, general equipment and small tools.

Tesco contractors will have a dedicated rental desk at Speedy and access to the company’s extranet system to manage their requirements online.

Tesco officials said they chose Speedy because of its “impressive experience supporting major projects.”

Speedy Hire is based in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, U.K.
