SimmaRent, the official Snorkel distributor in Chile, has supplied two aerial work platforms for Embotelladora Andina, based in Santiago, Chile. The Coca-Cola distributor has invested in a Snorkel A46JE electric articulating boomlift and an S2646E electric slab scissorlift.
EA employs more than 4,000 people and last year had more than $1.8 billion in sales. It produces Coca Cola products in Chile, Argentina and Brazil and manufactures a range of soft drinks under its own brands.
SimmaRent is a full-service distributor for many leading brands, including Allmand, Ammann and Husqvarna. More than half of its sales and equipment rental business comes from Chile’s booming mining sector. Last year SimmaRent sold an A46JE to Unimarc, the third-largest supermarket chain in Chile.
