U.K.’s Northbridge Acquires Belgian Specialty Rental Firm
Northbridge, the U.K.-based industrial services and rental company, has acquired the entire share capital of DSG Rental NV, an equipment rental company based near Atwerp, Belgium, for about €2.9 million (about U.S. $3.8 million). DSGR was incorporated in 2006, and specializes in the rental of containerized transformers and switchgear on a global basis.
The business has grown substantially since incorporation. Revenue in the 12 months ended June 30, 2011, was €1.8 million, primarily from rental.
