Goughs, the Caterpillar in New Zealand, last week named Andrew Green CEO -- Equipment Group after what the company termed an extensive worldwide recruitment process. The Equipment Group includes the Caterpillar Business Unit, Goughs Forklifts, Goughs Engineering and The Cat Rental Store.

Green has served as general manager – Caterpillar at the company’s head office in Christchurch, and has served as acting CEO for the Equipment Group for the past four months. Green has extensive experience in the Caterpillar dealer business, having spent 15 years with an Australian Caterpillar dealer before joining Goughs in 1998. In Australia, Green worked in operational and management positions.
