The Lavendon Group, a major player in aerial rental in Europe and the Middle East, has acquired Blue Sky Access Limited for an initial price of £3.4 million (about U.S. $5.4 million). Blue Sky is a specialist and engineering firm that designs and engineers products to improve efficiency and safety in the use of powered access equipment. Lavendon has been working with Blue Sky since 2008.
Lavendon is based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, U.K.
