Aerial work platform manufacturer JLG Industries was named Access Supplier of the Year and its new JLG 340AJ articulating boomlift was awarded Best New Product of the Year at the Hire and Rental Industry Association Annual Convention in Perth, Australia.
Rental companies throughout Australia voted.
“We’re honored that JLG was selected Supplier of the Year and that our 340AJ received Best Product of the Year by the HRIA,” said Rick Alton, JLG Industries vice president of international sales, market development and customer support.
Representatives from the rental industry — including building and construction, excavating and earthmoving, hoists, materials handling, mining, scaffolding, among others — attended the HRIA Convention. The three-day tradeshow included two indoor display days and a field day during which participants tested a wide range of equipment. Judged by a panel of industry experts, the award honored JLG for research, design, engineering and production expertise.
JLG, an Oshkosh Corp. company, is based in McConnellsburg, Pa.
