GAM, a leading Spanish rental company, signed an agreement with Alimerka, a major player in food distribution, to provide the necessary machinery for the development of a new logistics center Alimerka plans to open in Llanera Asturias. The agreement, with an initial term of five years renewable, was reached through GAM’s industrial division, which specializes in providing rental services to industry in general, particularly the distribution, logistics and chemical industries.

The agreement, which will bring GAM more €3 million (about U.S. $4.5 million) in revenue, includes service, maintenance and repair of equipment.

GAM has more than 100 locations in Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Persian Gulf.
