Cologne, Germany-based engine manufacturer Deutz opened a new service center in Madrid, Spain, this week. The new 4,000-square-meter facility includes a 500-square-meter workshop, offices, a spare-parts shop for customers and a large fleet of machinery.
The facility will also have four fully equipped vans for onsite repairs. The logistics area includes fully automated warehouse technology to ensure fast material handling.
Isidoro De La Flor, head of sales for Deutz’s Spanish subsidiary Deutz Diter, said the new service center will strengthen Deutz’s distribution network in Spain. Deutz also has a components plant in Zafra, Spain.
