International Powered Access Federation last week announced that Pat Cox, a former president of the European Parliament and well-known current affairs presenter, will speak on how European enlargement brings opportunities for cross-border trade at this year’s Access Summit, organized by IPAF.
The IPAF Summit takes the theme of “Rent clever: Dynamic powered access solutions in difficult times.” It is free and open to all interested parties upon registration. It will be held on April 2, at 1:30 p.m. local time, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Northwood in Dublin, Ireland.
The Summit will be officially opened by Peter Power, the Irish Minister for Overseas Development. Among the speakers are Michael Kneeland, president/CEO of U.S.-based United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, and John Ball, managing director of rental specialist Height for Hire Ireland and IPAF president.

Headquartered in Milnthorpe, United Kingdom, IPAF is a not-for-profit members’ organization that exists to promote the safe and effective use of powered access equipment. Members include manufacturers, distributors and equipment owners, including rental companies.
