Coates Hire, Australia’s largest rental company, is working with the Murrindindi Shire Council to help the municipality streamline its equipment rental and maintenance process with a long-term fleet maintenance solution.
Operating with multiple suppliers for equipment and maintenance across different product lines resulted in extra work, increased paperwork and inefficient tracking of multiple maintenance schedules. Coates Hire was asked to help MSC consolidate workflows and maintenance programs. As part of the contract, Coates services, maintains and reports on MSC’s entire equipment fleet comprised of small trucks and tractors, graders, backhoes and aerial equipment.
In addition to increased on-site maintenance efficiency, Coates Hire has been able to use MSC’s facilities to service the Council’s fleet.
