Coates Offshore, a division of Coates Hire, one of the world’s largest equipment rental companies, has hired Graham Pemberton as regional director for Asia-Pacific.

Coates Offshore is a major provider of air compressors, steam generators, heat exchangers and sand fitters to the global offshore oil and gas sector.

“Graham has many years experience in the hire industry in the U.K. and Australia,” said executive director Kieran White. “Based in Perth, Australia, Graham will be developing the emerging opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region, supporting customer requirements and securing new projects in Asia, Australia and Indonesia.”

Coates Offshore was founded in 1999, to offer specialist equipment to the energy industry from its Aberdeen, Australia, headquarters. The company has support operations in the Netherlands, Norway, Brazil, Singapore, Indonesia, Western Australia, and, in the near future, Angola.
