Australian Forklift Rental Companies Merge
Australian forklift rental companies Allforks Australia and United Equipment have agreed to merge the business assets of Allforks with United effective Oct. 31. The merger will create one of Australia’s largest lift truck distribution and rental companies.
The merged company will trade as United Equipment and will become the exclusive Caterpillar Lift Truck distributor for New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia. United Equipment will also continue to be the exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor of Konecranes (SMV) Lift Trucks.
Allforks’ major shareholder, Tasmanian businessman Dale Elphinstone will become a shareholder of United Equipment and a member of its board.
