Atlas Copco Specialty Rental division and Malta-based Mainticare Ltd. signed a partnership agreement in Malta covering oil and gas equipment rental services, ACSR announced this week. The agreement provides for integrated support to service off- and onshore oil and gas customers operating within the Mediterranean and North African sectors.
The partnership will focus on North African oil and gas business, and will build on existing links with operations in all Mediterranean countries with a special focus on Algeria, Egypt, Libya and others.
The Atlas Copco Specialty Rental product range available through the partnership will include oil-free and oil-injected air compressors, generators, nitrogen membrane units, air boosters, dryers and auxiliary equipment, in addition to other oil- and gas-related equipment.
“This cooperation between Atlas Copco Specialty Rental and Mainticare Ltd. will further strengthen our position in the oil and gas rental market in the region,” said Horst Wasel, president of ACSR. “New and existing customers in the region will benefit from the enhanced support that is provided by having the right people and reliable equipment close to the center of their operations.”
ACSR is based in Antwerp, Belgium.
