The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games and Aggreko plc last week announced that Aggreko was named as the temporary power and temperature control exclusive supplier of the 2008 Olympics Games.

According to the agreement, Aggreko will provide the Games with temporary energy generation and delivery systems, temperature control systems, and related maintenance and repair services, and will receive certain marketing rights.

Aggreko has supplied temporary power to many of the world’s largest sporting events for many years, including the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and Atlanta. The company is headquartered in Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in Houston. Aggreko North America is No. 12 on the RER 100.
