Volvo Construction Equipment last week announced it has added another Volvo compact equipment dealer to its expanding distribution network. The Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) branch in Elkridge, Md., is now representing the comprehensive line of Volvo compact wheel loaders and excavators and skid-steer and backhoe loaders. The appointment of VCES-Elkridge was effective May 1.

The Elkridge branch has been in its market serving customers for more than 50 years. “Our team is excited to bring Volvo compact machines to the Baltimore area,” said Shawn Cheney, branch manager. “I don’t think it will take long for our customers to realize why these machines are so popular in other parts of the country. They allow us to provide customers with the types of machines they want coupled with the service they have come to expect from us over the last five decades serving the construction industry.”

VCES has 18 branch locations in the United States. These Volvo CE company stores provide sales, parts, service, and rental and used equipment to construction equipment customers in their markets. VCES branches in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, Calif., Houston, San Antonio and Dallas now carry Volvo compact products. The company plans additional VCES branches in the near future.
