Volvo Construction Equipment Rents last week announced the opening of a Volvo Rents equipment rental franchise serving Pensacola, Fla. Cook Coastal Rentals, owned by Miles and Melissa Cook, will serve several counties, including Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton.

It is the company’s second Volvo Rents franchise; Cook Coastal Rentals opened its first store in Spanish Fort, Ala., in 2003.

The new Volvo Rents center, an independently owned and operated franchise, will carry a comprehensive line of essential equipment for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets, as well as an extensive line of Volvo compact excavators and wheel loaders and backhoe and skid steer loaders.

Volvo Rents has 76 equipment rental centers open in North America, 63 centers in Europe and one in its international region (Mexico).

Asheville, N.C.-based Volvo Rents is No. 16 on the RER 100.
