The Volvo Rents franchise in Rochester, N.Y., has expanded its operations into Ithaca, N.Y., by acquiring Seneca Supply Inc. as part of its growth strategy.

“Volvo Rents has enjoyed great success as a customer-focused company in the five years it has been in operation,” said David Terry, president of the Rochester branch. “We are especially proud to now join forces with a company that has been part of the community for 42 years. It extends our footprint and offers our customers greater resources to meet their needs.”

“This will allow us to offer our customers one-stop shopping,” added Don Bero, president and owner of Seneca Supply, who will remain with the company.

Volvo Rents now has 82 rental centers in North America, 72 in Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria) and one in Mexico. Based in Asheville, N.C., Volvo Rents is No. 17 on the RER 100.
