United Rentals to Redeem Senior Notes Due 2016

United Rentals will redeem the outstanding $500 million principal amount of its 10 7/8 percent senior notes due 2016 on Nov. 29. The notes will be redeemed at a redemption price of about 110.96 percent of the principal amount of the notes.

The Bank of New York Mellon is trustee for the notes.

United Rentals North America will use the proceeds from the issuance of its 6.125-percent senior notes due 2023 and additional borrowings of about $188 million under its asset-based revolving credit facility to redeem the notes.
