GREENWICH, Conn. — United Rentals last month expanded its trench safety rental network with the opening of three locations in the eastern United States. The new branches in Nashville, Tenn., Raleigh, N.C., and Baltimore, Md., extend the company's trench safety presence to a total of 58 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
“We are continuing to invest in our position as the leading trench safety rental provider in North America by expanding our footprint and being first-to-market with new technologies for contractors working in underground excavations,” said Paul McDonnell, senior vice president - operations, trench safety, power and HVAC. “Our specialty range of trench safety, temporary power and climate control services, together with our general construction equipment, comprises the largest rental fleet available to customers through a single source.”
Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals has an integrated network of 541 rental locations in 48 states and 10 Canadian provinces. It is No. 1 on the RER 100.
