United Rentals Expands Power and HVAC Operations in Three States

United Rentals last week announced further investment in its branch network with the opening of three specialty locations in the fourth quarter. The locations extend the company's power and HVAC operations to Tacoma, Wash., Charlotte, N.C., and Beaumont, Texas.

“Our growth strategy is shaped by the needs of our end markets, where we see increasing demand for temporary power and climate control equipment,” said Paul McDonnell, senior vice president - trench safety, power and HVAC. “Our expertise in these areas is an opportunity to strengthen our customer relationships beyond the range of general construction services.”

The United Rentals branch network integrates the company's general rentals and trench safety, power and HVAC businesses into the industry's largest customer service footprint. For more information, visit unitedrentals.com.

With an integrated network of 549 rental locations in 48 states and 10 Canadian provinces, Greenwich, Conn.-based United Rentals is No. 1 on the RER 100.
